Alternative Assets Analyst

Alternative Asset Group is a dedicated team within (the combined Lindorff and Intrum Justitia Group), whose purpose is to drive portfolio investments in secured and unsecured large exposure Non-Performing Loans (NPLs). In your role you will be a central part of the team supporting senior team leaders in the whole investment process.

Key tasks/ responsibilities:

• Prepare/scrub seller provided data that will be loaded into valuation models
• Prepare/review assumptions for models, and in particular analyse empirical data (internal or external) that will be translated into key underwriting assumptions
• Load data and assumptions into models
• Review and interpret model outputs
• Help design due diligence scope (legal due diligence, collateral valuations, cadastral registry checks), conduct/participate in due diligence, and interpret due diligence results to be transcribed into model
• Prepare designated sections of the investment memorandum
• Participate in the legal and commercial considerations of a transaction

We expect that you have:

• Higher degree in Scientific or advanced Finance educational field
• Great analytical skills and written presentation skills
• Data analysis skills, command of programming language and experience in data scrubbing
• Strong knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, other European languages is a plus
• Skillset in managing external providers (advisors, co-investors)
• Experience from transaction environment
• Background in valuation of Residential or Commercial real-estate is a plus
• Experience in underwriting and management of secured non-performing loans (including knowledge of high level procedures and resolution strategies) is a plus
