Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for proactive Business Intelligence Analyst to join Business Intelligence team!

You will be testing and improving collection strategies; developing, testing and improving scoring models and business rules that drive our automated collection processes; predicting revenue and costs; monitoring results. The responsibility for the corresponding mathematical analyzes will be key in this role. You will translate your insights into recommendations for the company, and it is essential that you have a good sense of how information should be presented. Cooperation with colleagues at all levels within Operations is a key success factor in this job.

Key tasks/ responsibilities:

- Analyze available internal and external data
- Build scoring models and business rules to drive automated processes
- Collect and use of data across operational and credit management processes
- Predict (financial) results, revenues and costs
- Analyze the results of actions taken
- Propose improvements of collection strategies
- Analyze and monitor quality and efficiency of portfolios and processes

In this position you are a key player in making the business smarter and you often work in programmatic improvement processes. Your colleagues are managers of operational departments, process- and project managers, business analysts, econometric data analysts and suppliers.

We expect that you have:

- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics or a similar field
- At least three years of experience in a similar job
- Sound experience in applying techniques for processing large amounts of data and the development of prediction models
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel and SQL skills as well as experience in statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS)
- Capability to translate data into information, analysis and recommendations  
- Good English language skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Experience in an international environment would be an advantage

We expect that you are:

- Highly numerate, attentive to details and quick learner
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop
- Good communicator, capable in explaining your recommendations to internal clients, mostly management of Operations, Marketing and Sales
- Able to work in a team and cooperate with others, but able to work individually as well
- Able to work independentely, under limited supervision
